Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you might want to know about listening, the station, and getting involved.

How do I listen?

Open the site in any web browser and hit Listen Live. That's it. No app, no signup, no player to install. The stream starts playing in the browser automatically.

Do you play ads?

No. Rumor Mill News Radio is listener-supported and ad-free. There are no commercials, no banner ads, and no trackers on the site.

Is this really live?

Yes. Live briefings, interviews, and conversations are produced from the studio in real time. What you hear is happening right now. The broadcast pauses between scheduled programs and returns automatically when the next show starts.

What do you cover?

The format is broad and independent: news briefings, interviews, public affairs, culture, media, community reports, and open conversation. The programming is selected by people, not by an algorithm.

Can I suggest a story?

Yes. During live broadcasts, send a question or topic through the chat. You can also email the station with a story tip, local perspective, or follow-up question.

Do you have a mobile app?

No dedicated app, and you don't need one. The player works on phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops, and adapts to your connection quality automatically.

Why is the stream sometimes off air?

The station is live during scheduled showtimes rather than running an automated rolling feed. Between programs the stream goes quiet. See the schedule for exact times.

Can I contribute?

Possibly. The station is built on contributors. Email us a question, local perspective, interview idea, or story tip and we will get back to you.

How can I contact the station?

Email hello@rumormillnewsradio.com for feedback, story tips, questions, or technical help with the stream.

Rather just hear it?

The conversation is the point.
